I linger and contemplate over photography of moments that are too intense to be understandable in real time. Consider all of the detail that lies within a reflection. Open water is always in motion and the nuances and beauty of the reflections move too quickly to be intelligible. For that reason water reflections are a theme of interest  for me because only within the realm of photography can these moments of intricate beauty be revealed.

A dryad (/ˈdraɪ.æd/; Greek: Δρυάδες, sing.: Δρυάς) is a tree nymph or tree spirit in Greek mythology. Drys signifies "oak" in Greek, and dryads are specifically the nymphs of oak trees, but the term has come to be used for all tree nymphs in general.
